I have been in the sprinkler business for 30 years now. I have found the Sigma Hydraulics to be the simplest hydraulic program to use. And the new windows version is even simpler with the drop down menus. Great program!

I love your new remote area feature! I have found the input to be very fast and it is easy to calculate a job with multiple remote areas. Sometimes I almost think I am in AutoCad as I am interacting with the drawings.

I spent two hours or so working on a test job for 8800 yesterday. I came back in this morning for some quiet time using the new program and really got into it.
I took a job through a calculation and went right to reports. I was very impressed with the clean, attractive look of the submittal printout and was pleasantly surprised to see the pump sketch. It makes the pump info much easier for approving authorities to read. Also, I liked the water supply, graph, booster pump and warning notes etc. I used a low city static, residual, large flow for the city water and then used a low pressure pump with large volume. Sprinkler demand was kept low, and demand was satisfied with no problems, I wasn't using much of the pump. The warning signs came up were helpful. If there had been a large sprinkler demand the pump would have dropped the city below 20 psi. I was just checking to see if there was a warning and there was.
The printouts are really different now with the new submittal standard, I printed the job out and checked off each line against the drawing to make sure it was all there. It was and this gave me confidence in the program.
I ran my sprinkler cad program (AutoCad), then opened Sigma on the screen to view my sprinkler dwg while I entered hydraulics data. I was able to switch between the two programs with ease, and was very much impressed.
The sample jobs are a fast tutorial for me and I feel very comfortable and proficient already with less than 8 hours using the program.
I suspect people that have used other programs will be able to jump on and learn it quickly.
Sigma looks to have a winner with 8800!
